A research project undertaken by Reed Mobility has been recognised at Self-Driving Industry Awards.
The project “Self-driving but guided by people” was funded by Rees Jeffreys Road Fund as part of our 150 Competition celebrating 150 years since the birth of our founder William Rees Jeffreys.

The Reed Mobility project sought to develop ethical behaviours for self-driving vehicles through exploring with members of the public what society wants and expects from self-driving vehicles.
The research project has identified a framework through which members of the public can be involved in setting their expectations of the behaviour of self-driving vehicles, covering issues such as trust, legality and safety.
The Self-Driving Industry Awards have been created by Cars of the Future.
