The vision of Roadside Rests

Before his death, William Rees Jeffreys collaborated with the Royal Automobile Club to publish a pamphlet setting out his vision for Roadside Rests.  

The first trustees of Rees Jeffreys Road Fund knew how important this vision was to William, and so they began the work of funding Roadside Rests across the UK. 

Today there are over 75 Roadside Rests where people can safely pull off the road and enjoy a spectacular view, just as William intended.
