Rees Jeffreys Road Fund seeks early career professional adviser

Rees Jeffreys Road Fund is seeking early or emerging transport career professionals to support the trustees as an adviser.

Are you within the first 10 years of your transport career, and enjoy thinking about the long term role that roads play in the UK, how roads can be more sustainable and environmentally sensitive, and how roads can work better for everyone?  This could be the role for you.

Being an adviser to Rees Jeffreys Road Fund will allow you to contribute fresh ideas and thinking, whilst gaining the experience of working with senior figures from the transport sector and finding out how boards make decisions and govern.

The role involves attending four meetings a year as a volunteer, and reading the trustee board meeting papers in preparation to contribute to the discussion.

This is a relatively low time-commitment activity to expand your CV and your experience in the field of highways and transport.

If you are interested in learning more, please read our information pack here, and get in touch by emailing secretary@reesjeffreys.co.uk

To apply, send your CV and a note explaining why you are interested, what you feel you can contribute and what you hope to benefit from the experience.  Deadline for applications for the role is 10th January 2025.

Applicants may be interviewed by the Trustees and the Fund is hoping to appoint one or two early or emerging transport career professional Advisers.
