A new updated Guide to Inclusive Cycling has been launched by cycling charity Wheels for Wellbeing.
Wheels for Wellbeing hope their new Guide will support decision-makers, policy makers, designers and campaigners to understand the fundamentals of inclusive active travel, so that all Disabled people have the option to make walking/wheeling, cycling and multi-modal journeys.
The development of the new updated Guide has been made possible through a grant from Rees Jeffreys Road Fund.
Wheels for Wellbeing say that over the past five years huge progress has been made at a national-level of pan-impairment, pan-modal Disabled people’s mobility needs. The updated Guide to Inclusive Cycling will support further progress to be made that bigger strides can be made in enabling Disable people to cycle whenever they want or need to.
The new Guide can be accessed here and alternative formats here.
