A new toolkit has been released to aid the engagement of young people consultation about the development of transport and other planning issues.
The Engaging Young People in Consultation or EPYiChttps://www.bridgeresearchltd.com/_files/ugd/f94f8d_f4ff89a95d26434888f7f577f0e09040.pdf?index=true toolkit has been designed by Gemma Bridge and Bernard Fanning, with the support of grant funding from Rees Jeffreys Road Fund.
The toolkit aims to support transport authorities engage with young people aged 18 to 25. Despite the direct impact of transport policies on their lives, young people are often under-represented in the consultation process.
The toolkit will support transport bodies, local authorities, charities and community groups to design more inclusive, youth-friendly consultation processes.
