A new project called Ways of Life is showcasing highways careers.
The Ways of Life project is created and led by Highways Sector Council, and funded by Rees Jeffreys Road Fund.
The project is showcasing the wide range of fascinating and meaningful roles that happen every day in the roads and highways sector.

Highways Sector Council hope that by sharing the series of videos showcasing people enjoying their professional careers in roads and highways that it will inspire future generations of transport professionals to step forward. Each video goes behind the scenes, showing what its like to be part of the dedicated and expert workforce in the UK keeping our roads safe, reliable and connected.
Roads matter to all of us, they are such a key part of our everyday way of life.

From motorways to country lanes, and high streets to housing estates, we rely on a multitude of professionals to deliver roads that work for us all. Seventy-five years after the establishment of his charitable fund, the Rees Jeffreys trustees are delighted to be helping to fund this important initiative, which complements our other work to offer financial support to those in the sector looking to improve their professional capability, wherever they are on their career journey.”
